Keighley Community Transport was established in 1984, located on Goulbourne Street in Keighley West Yorkshire. Keighley Community Transport is a provider of safe and reliable transport for local groups within the Keighley District and surrounding areas.
We provide a mini-bus transport service to a variety of different groups including day-care centres, local leisure centres, community groups, charity groups and for educational purposes, as well as a twice weekly shopping service for people who are at a disadvantage due to age, disability, ill health and location/isolation. We have several wheelchair accessible minibus's available to groups if required. Apart from our minibus's we also provide two wheelchair accessible cars for our "Dial A Ride" service, a more personal one to one service to help enable our users to live as independently as possible but still attain respite and appointments (medical and social). Our drivers will assist you into the car and help you with your shopping, we will take you to shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, doctor and dental appointments etc. Telephone bookings are essential and emergency bookings may be catered for depending on availability, please ring the office on 01535 611101 to register and book transport for this service.
We are always looking for volunteers to help expand our community service. If you would like to help out and give up a small portion of your time, either a few hours or a day a week and you hold a current valid driving license with D1 classification please do not hesitate to contact the office on 01535 609278.
